Silgan Dispensing Systems in Grandview, MO seeks a Tool Room Manager to own mold tool room condition, cavitation recovery, and lifecycle planning. You will lead two shifts, supervise toolmakers, and ensure rapid repair, calibration and documentation for production readiness.

You will drive preventive maintenance from failure history, manage hot runner systems and tooling standards, and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to support new platform launches with APQP/PPAP discipline.

Qualificações

• Candidate must have tooling depth with multi‑cavity tooling experience and ability to write repair records.
• Experience recovering cavitation and building a preventive maintenance program from failure history.
• Hands‑on knowledge of hot runner and manifold systems, and CNC machining skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own mold tool room condition, repair, cavitation recovery and lifecycle planning.
• Lead two shifts of toolmakers with coaching and performance reviews.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 documentation and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with Quality and Operations to support new platform launches under APQP/PPAP.
• Develop and execute a tool PM plan based on failure history rather than calendar dates.
• Ensure availability and capability to recover blocked cavities and provide reliable tooling for production.
