You will coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and customers to translate concepts into robust mechanical designs.

This role requires hands-on CAD (SolidWorks) and project leadership, with travel up to 20% and a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but other technical degrees or proven experience will be considered.
• 5+ years in a role demonstrating the ability to understand, design, and manage tooling processes.
• Hands-on CAD with SolidWorks and proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to integrate control systems and tooling into automated designs.
• Read and interpret customer drawings/specifications and create clear engineering drawings.
• Develop automation solutions and support projects through implementation and startup.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Manage tooling projects by securing customer funding, budgeting with accounting, and coordinating vendors for on-time delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company standards within the quality management system.
