Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is looking for a Tool Trailer Coordinator to manage on-site tool trailers and tool rooms at customer sites. You will issue tools to customers, inspect returns, and perform visual safety inspections.

You will maintain fleet and consumable levels, use the Total Control system to mark and enter tools, coordinate mobilization and setup, ensure a clean trailer, and communicate with customers to maintain tool supply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• 3+ months of inside sales or onsite plant/construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Tool and tool application knowledge.
• Self-sufficient and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills; industrial credentials desirable.
• Travel up to 75% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customer.
• Mark/enter tools in Total Control system.
• Assist mobilization and setup of the trailer at the customer’s site.
• Maintain a clean and presentable trailer.
• Provide regular communication with customers to maintain tool supply in conjunction with manager.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
