Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider seeking a Dispatcher to organize the daily dispatch of equipment for the branch in a safe and timely manner.

You will schedule drivers, handle customer calls, and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and field repairs while supporting the inside sales team and maintaining a strong focus on safety and service. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch.
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service.
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
• Assist Inside sales team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
