Job summary

Otis Florence is seeking a Tool Technician to receive, inspect, assemble, rebuild, test, and ship equipment at our Florence, SC facility. The role supports inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and ongoing operational efficiency within the Tool Facility.

The position requires high attention to detail, reading blueprints and instructions, and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. 1st shift is 7:30AM-4:00PM, Mon-Fri, with potential overtime; safety and ISO standards are emphasized

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• PIV operation experience or certification is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or ISO environments is beneficial.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and test equipment per specs.
• Read assembly instructions, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and process shipments and packaging.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and ISO procedures; use company software and devices.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical/electrical issues during testing.
