Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking an Assembler for the Florence, SC facility. This on-site role focuses on assembling mechanical components, using MTS/OFS and PIV tools, and performing ground bond tests as part of a 1st shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Mon-Fri with possible extra days).

Requires HS diploma or GED and 0–1 year in production assembly. You will participate in toolbox meetings and support continuous improvement, Tier 1, 5S, and MRB processes while contributing to a safe, compliant

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math ability required.
• Effective communication to drive improvements and teamwork.
• Ability to cross-train on multiple product configurations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components per work instructions (MTS and OFS).
• Utilize PIV for crating and packing requirements.
• Perform basic rework on assemblies to resolve defects.
• Support shop-floor management goals (5S, Tier 1, MRB) and continuous improvement.
