Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Tool Technician to support our production by setting and repairing molds in our injection molding operations. The role ensures molds are correctly inserted and maintained to meet production goals.

Qualified applicants have 5–7 years mold repair experience, be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and be prepared to obtain forklift certification. We offer a safe, clean environment and benefits.

• Forklift operation experience.
• Willing to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

About the Position

As a Tool Technician, you will play a vital role in the production every great product that leaves our facility. Set and repairing the molds in our machines ensure our production goals our meeting timely.

Available Shifts

• Days: Monday - Friday

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Will be pulling and setting molds into press for production runs.
• Will be pulling and resetting molds for repairs.
• Moving and setting secondary equipment.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Become forklift certified.
