Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Repair and Tool Technicians to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. This role supports Tool Rental Centers in stores and repair centers, ensuring equipment is repaired, tested, and ready for customer use.

Technicians will assist customers by writing contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, and will help maintain tool inventory and the overall operation of the tool rental department, including proper cleaning

Qualifications

• Experience with evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Knowledge of tool inventory management and ability to maintain repair quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide service to store customers in Tool Rental, including writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and repair.
• Maintain day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
• In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, cleaned, and returned to the originating store.
