About the Role

As a Tool Service Technician (Service Tech I), you'll perform manual and maintenance tasks, including minor repairs of specialty tools, in a safe and professional manner. You'll have opportunities to improve your skills and advance within our Service Department, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
2. Report machine conditions to management.
3. Load and unload equipment complying with DOT regulations.
4. Clean tools and prepare new equipment for rent or sale.
5. Demonstrate tools and equipment to customers.
6. Perform minor repairs, including electrical, calibration, and tagging of tools.
7. Assist higher-level technicians as needed.
8. Help with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic understanding of electrical testing equipment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
