Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled technician to repair, modify, and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling at our Libertyville, IL facility. The role requires operating tool room machines and following blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.

The position supports production by resolving issues, maintaining inventories, and documenting all tool specifications and dimensions. We offer a 12-hour shift (6:00 am–6:15 pm) on a rotating 36-48 schedule with pay ranging from

• Operate tool room machines including mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses, etc.
• Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, required equipment, and operation sequences.
• Provide support to other departments to resolve quality and production problems.
• Maintain parts inventory, work order entry, and other data entry tasks accurately.
• Record specifications, production operations, and final dimensions of tools for use in establishing operating standards and procedures.
• Protect intellectual property and confidential information.
• Other related duties as assigned

Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Schedule: 12 hour days. 6:00 am - 6:15 pm, rotating days, 36 48 schedule

Pay: The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $28.00; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $28.00 and $40.00.
