Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training acceptable.
• Ability to perform basic measurements.
• Learning to read programs.
• Able to read basic blueprints and use various measuring equipment.
• Able to work to tolerance of +/- .005".
• Possess a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Must be able to clearly convey information, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic machine operation under general supervision.
• Inspect parts and move product.
• Report problems, deviation, or quality concerns to senior Machinist or Supervisor.
• Change tooling on specified machines.
• Transact parts accordingly.
• Participate in 5S Standards and sustainment activities.
• May work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
