Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in tool and die making or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes including CNC milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve tooling, machinery, and production issues.
• Experience maintaining and repairing precision measurement tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the tool room and ensure production schedules are met.
• Supervise, train, and mentor tool room technicians to build a skilled team.
• Maintain, repair, and calibrate all tooling and equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality standards within the tool room.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables; procure as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize tool design and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex tooling issues and minimize downtime.
