Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Tool Pattern Maker in Bloomington, MN to craft tooling for aerospace sandcasting. You will build pattern tooling, fixtures, and mold components, integrate gating into mold layouts, and produce complex core geometries from blueprints.

The role emphasizes precision craftsmanship, interpretation of 2D/3D drawings, and collaboration in a high-performance foundry environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in pattern making or related field.
• 3–5 years of pattern making experience in foundry or tooling environments.
• Strong ability to interpret 2D and 3D blueprints.
• Experience supporting mold layout, gating integration, and fixture building.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset.
• Willingness to support overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pattern tooling, fixtures, and mold components for foundry operations.

• Produce complex core geometries from engineering blueprints.
• Interpret both 2D and 3D technical drawings.

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is hiring a Pattern Maker at our Bloomington facility—and this is a great opportunity to apply your craftsmanship to precision tooling that supports critical aerospace components used around the world.

Pay Range: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)

Bonus: Up to 5% quarterly bonus potential

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
