Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Tool and Parts Attendant to manage requisitioning, ordering, shipping, issuing, and controlling materials, parts, and tools. You will provide hand tools and shop equipment support for the maintenance complex, while maintaining tool records and assisting with inventory, hazardous materials, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and issuing tools, inspecting for wear, and assisting with RCS in tool room operations.

Qualifications

• Reading AFIs, tech orders, manuals, and regulations.
• Must read, write, and comprehend technical instructions.
• Computer terminal operation experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Normal color vision required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores and issues hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment.
• Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.
• Searches for lost tools and notifies supervision as required.
• Prepares inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
• Unpacks and stores new equipment.
• Assists in maintaining inventories on parts, tools and equipment.
• Handles hazardous materials per MSDS and guidelines.
