Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking a reliable Tools and Parts Attendant at Mountain Home AFB to manage the facility's inventory, tools, dies, replacement parts, and shop supplies. You will ensure technicians have the exact, fully operational equipment and maintain accurate records of items checked out and returned.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tool crib, parts department, or industrial supply environment.
• Ability to visually inspect equipment and use measurement tools to detect wear or damage.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate inventory and logkeeping.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift/unpack heavy parts and equipment.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance for access to the airfield.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive hand tools, machine tools, and equipment; maintain real-time records of items checked out and returned.
• Conduct periodic and perpetual inventory counts; identify low stock levels and requisition replacements.
• Perform routine searches to locate lost or misplaced tools and components.
• Unpack, verify, and store incoming equipment and parts; follow proper facility layout.
• Visually inspect returned tools for wear; measure with micrometers/calipers and report damage.
• Apply protective coatings and attach identification tags or engrave information on tools.
