Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to uphold equipment reliability across molding operations. You will read blueprints, plan tool setups, heat treat and weld parts, and inspect with precision gauges to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret instructions accurately.
• Comfort with lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physical tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or work from instructions to copy or fit parts.
• Plan setup and operation of machine shop tools considering material tolerances and feeds/speeds.
• Heat treat and weld parts as required.
• Use precision measuring tools and perform inspections during machining.
• Set up, run, and test molds to meet specifications and trace issues.
• Assist machinists and millwrights in injection molding press overhaul.
