Amcor Limited in Pittston, PA seeks a Maintenance Tool Mechanic to maintain and set up complex mold tooling and injection molding equipment. You will read blueprints, plan tool setups, perform heat treatment and welding, and test molds to ensure product quality.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance or technical schooling, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years in industrial maintenance or technical schooling.
• Reads and interprets blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions, sketches, or from the actual part to be copied or fitted.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Familiar with electrical, hydraulic and injection molding machines.
• Extensive knowledge with hot runner mold systems is highly preferred.

Mansioni

• Read blueprints or work from instructions to copy or fit parts.
• Plan setup and operation of machine shop tools, considering materials, tolerances, and feeds/speeds.
• Heat treats and welds parts as required.
• Use precision measuring tools for inspections before, during, and after machining.
• Assemble mold parts, set up, run tests, and modify to meet specifications.
• May assist machinists and millwrights in injection molding press overhaul.
• Communicate with designers about manufacturing feasibility.
• Various other duties as assigned.
