Education and/or Experience

• Must have high school diploma or GED.


• Post‑high‑school tooling/machining program preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good organizational skills.


• Intermediate proficiency in computer operations.

• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements and business correspondence.


• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate.


• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


• Knowledge of safe and proficient use of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws.


• Proficiency in bench repair, assembly, machinery upkeep, layout, die repair, inspection, press troubleshooting, tooling design, quality control, die/fixture building, welding and heat‑treating.
