Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a motivated Tool Maker A to join our Tool Room in Danboro, PA. You will independently read, edit, and develop programs, plan daily tasks, and operate manual and CNC Milling, Centerless and Surface grinders to produce parts with tight tolerances.

You will construct, repair, and align dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges, inspect pieces against drawings, and maintain tools and workspace while following safety protocols in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Tool & Die Maker Certificate or 5+ years Tool Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Read, edit, and develop programs; plan daily tasks.
• Operate tool room machines (Milling: manual and CNC; grinders) and set up jobs with tight tolerances.
• Construct and repair dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges; inspect parts to drawings.
