Job summary

PennEngineering in Danboro, PA is seeking a Tool Maker A to join our Tool Room. You will read, edit, and develop programs and plan daily tasks, operating manual and CNC milling along with centerless and surface grinders.

You will construct, alter, and repair tools to close tolerances from complex drawings. Responsibilities include receiving instructions, setting up machines, producing first pieces, and enforcing exacting tolerances with precise measurement tools.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to tolerance.

Responsibilities

Independently read, edit, and develop programs, as well as plan and assign required daily task.
Operate manual and CNC milling, centerless and surface grinders to tight tolerances.
Construct, alter, or repair dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges to close tolerances.
Read drawings, use micrometers, calipers, and indicators to verify parts.
Set up machines, produce first piece, and maintain strict quality checks.
