Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC in Fridley, MN is seeking a Tool Specialist to manage tool orders, inventory, and delivery coordination on construction projects. You will maintain tool quality, support project managers, and ensure compliance with company procedures while embracing Lean practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with tools or schedules in a construction warehouse environment; electrical construction knowledge preferred.
• Forklift operation experience and/or certification.
• Knowledge of MN DOT and MSHA regulations; DOT certification preferred.
• Lean concepts knowledge and process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills tool orders from the warehouse and inspects quality for delivery.
• Manages and inventories all tools and equipment; uses the computerized inventory system.
• Creates delivery/pick-up schedules and locates tools across project sites.
• Assists in tool purchases and submits purchase orders to accounts payable.
• Loads/unloads tools; audits tool recovery and safely operates a forklift as needed.
• Maintains warehouse tools by cleaning, repairing, and restocking inventory.
• Ships/receives packages daily and minimizes delivery costs.
• Upholds LEAN principles and company values in daily operations.
