Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned engineer with deep experience in semiconductor tool integration and facilities design. The role requires partnering with Electrical Engineering Tool Owners to walk tools onsite, assess demolition and upgrade requirements, and help define how existing infrastructure will be replaced or modified.

This position focuses on creating Facilities Data Sheets (FDS) and validating POU utilities, line length, and regulator sizing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of semiconductor facility or tool install engineering experience.
• Strong design background with direct tool walkdown experience.
• Ability to define demo and upgrade scopes with EE Tool Owners.
• Experience reviewing POU utilities and line length specs before FDS creation.
• Proficiency in validating flow rates, pressure drops, and regulator sizing.
• Experience interpreting supplier documents for site-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Walk tools onsite with EE Tool Owners to assess demolition and upgrade requirements.
• Define how existing infrastructure will be replaced or modified.
• Create Facilities Data Sheets (FDS) and validate POU utility connections.
• Verify line length distances meet specifications and confirm regulator sizing.
• Translate supplier design documentation to site-specific configuration using 2D design tools.
