Ideal candidates have 6–10+ years of semiconductor construction PM experience in fabs, with strong coordination across tool owners, engineers, OEMs, contractors, and facilities teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field within semiconductor industry required.
  • 6-10+ years of construction project management experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage process tool and supporting infrastructure installation projects from planning through commissioning and operational handoff.
  • Work with tool owners, engineers, OEMs, contractors, facilities teams to ensure on-schedule delivery.
  • Own project budgets and coordinate with cost engineers to meet financial commitments.
  • Coordinate all phases of construction from design review to startup and handoff.
  • Lead technical reviews and resolve complex construction issues.
  • Spend 50%+ time in the field supervising construction progress, safety, and milestones.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead semiconductor manufacturing construction projects focused on process tool installations, infrastructure builds, commissioning, and operational startup activities within wafer fabrication facilities (fabs). This individual will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through final handoff, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate brings strong semiconductor construction experience, a deep understanding of fab environments, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including facilities engineers, equipment owners, OEMs, contractors, and construction partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage process tool and supporting infrastructure installation projects from planning through commissioning and operational handoff
  • Work directly with tool owners, engineers, OEMs, contractors, facilities teams, and construction stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule
  • Own project budgets and partner with cost engineers and stakeholders to meet financial commitments
  • Coordinate all phases of construction, including fact-finding, design review, installation, commissioning, and startup
  • Maintain and validate utility, scheduling, and project databases to ensure accurate project tracking
  • Lead technical reviews and resolve complex construction, infrastructure, and installation issues
  • Spend 50%+ of time in the field overseeing construction activities, project progress, safety, schedule, and execution milestones
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field within the semiconductor industry
  • 6-10+ years of construction project management experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting process tool installation, infrastructure installation, and tool commissioning projects
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute schematic designs
  • Experience managing construction budgets, schedules, and project execution
  • Experience coordinating with tool owners, facilities engineers, contractors, OEMs, and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience working within wafer fabrication facilities (fabs)
