Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly organized Tool-Room Manager to oversee CTK, -21, and HAZMAT programs, alongside vehicle fleet management and accountability. The role includes managing tool room inventories, issuing TMDE, and CA/CRL control, with oversight of Hazmat procurement and waste handling.

Responsibilities extend to program status briefings, FOD prevention if required, and ensuring vehicle maintenance is scheduled, documented, and compliant with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Five or more years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of tool room stocking, controls, and tool inventories.
• Issues tools, TOs, TMDE and support equipment from the tool room.
• Manages CA/CRL (Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing).
• Oversees Hazardous Waste Management and Hazmat chemicals ordering.
• Conducts flight line and hangar FOD prevention walks and housekeeping.
• Ensures vehicles are clean, serviceable, and maintenance documented (AF Form 1800).
• Requests maintenance quotes and submits requisitions for vehicle upkeep.
• Maintains vehicle inspection data, emissions, registrations, and insurance.
• Supervises day-to-day program operations for -21 and AF Form 2692.
