Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group on the Fort Worth, TX floor is seeking a Tool & Die Machinist to maintain dies, punches, and fixtures for reliable stamping. You’ll inspect tools, repair and set up equipment, and collaborate with engineering to craft new fixtures, always prioritizing safety and quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years machinist experience, blueprint reading skills, and basic CNC knowledge. On-site role with a fast-paced, team-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable machinist experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Capable of basic equipment maintenance and safe shop practices.
• Draw die experience with progressive tooling is preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety procedures and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own the minor repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures.
• Evaluate dies to determine repair scope and methods.
• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders and other tools.
• Design and build tools and fixtures for new product launches.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
