Job summary

Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies, tooling, and related equipment. You will troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs to ensure tooling operates efficiently for high production quality and uptime.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and using precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
• Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies in press and toolroom.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts to build or modify tooling.
• Perform TIG/MIG welding when repairing tool steel components.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Maintain communication with production and maintenance teams.
• Follow safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations.
