Job summary

Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Repair Technician to support metal stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and modifying dies, tooling, and related equipment to uphold production quality and uptime. You will troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure tooling operates efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool and Die certification preferred.
• Minimum four years of related experience or completion of an approved trade school program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and machinist equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations while performing duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies both in the press and in the toolroom.
• Analyze specifications and layout metal stock for tooling repairs or modifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Assemble and fit parts using machines and hand tools to build, repair, or modify tooling.
• Perform welding operations (TIG/MIG) when repairing or rebuilding tool steel components.
• Spot and polish die details to ensure proper nesting and reduce wear on high-contact surfaces.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and models.
• Maintain effective communication with production and maintenance teams.
