Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is seeking a skilled machinist to perform minor repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures at our Fort Worth, TX location. The role involves inspecting dies, setting up machines, and manufacturing tools as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of machinist experience, reads blueprints, and is proficient with standard shop equipment. OSHA safety standards apply. Equal opportunity employer with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
  • Ability to perform standard shop computations (math).
  • Ability to read schematics (blueprints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments as well as work within a team environment.
  • Must have draw die experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair operations to dies.
  • Set up and operate standard milling machine, lathe, drill press, grinder and other machine tools as directed under general supervision.
  • Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products.

Job Description

Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for minor repair and maintenance of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures.
