Job summary
RPC Staffing is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Technician to support our metal stamping and manufacturing operations. The role covers repair, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and construction of dies and tooling, with a focus on stamping presses and hydraulics/pneumatics.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Tool & Die, blueprints reading, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This position is located in a manufacturing facility and involves routine preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or certificate in tool and die making or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in Tool & Die, Tool Room, or Die Repair.
- Experience with metal stamping presses and related equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, calibrate, and build dies, tooling, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on tooling and presses.
- Ensure safe operation and upkeep of Tool Room equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Support production goals with timely tooling solutions.
- Participate in safety, environmental, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete work assignments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
