Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Tool and Die Technician in Tulsa, OK. The role supports stamping dies and roll form tooling, maintains dies, and collaborates with production for machining needs.

You will machine components, program CNC lathes/mills, use MasterCam, and weld tool steel as required. This position requires a strong machining background and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience making or maintaining metal stamping dies.
• Experience with roll form tooling and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in the press or on the roll forming mills.
• 5+ years of manual machining experience with knee mills, toolroom lathes, bandsaws, surface grinders.
• Experience running and programming CNC lathes and mills using conversational programming.
• Ability to program a wire EDM machine with MasterCam.
• Experience welding tool steel and other ferrous metals.

Responsibilities

• Repair of metal stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, and refurbishing.
• Repair and maintenance of tube mill cut off dies.
• Work with press/mill operators to remedy part quality issues.
• Support maintenance with various machining needs and projects.
• Machining of die components and other parts using mills, lathes, surface grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Set up and tear down of roll form tooling.
• Clean and polish roll form tooling.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams.
