Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Repair Technician for a Detroit automotive stamping facility. You will repair and maintain stamping dies, perform in-press repairs, troubleshoot tooling issues, and assist with die tryouts to keep presses running smoothly.

The role requires blueprints literacy, precision measurement skills, and the ability to work closely with production and tool room teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous tool and die repair experience.
• Automotive stamping experience preferred.
• Experience working with large stamping dies.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and grinding experience.
• Experience performing in-press repairs.
• Class A die experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in a production stamping environment.
