Job summary

ABB is hiring a Tool & Die Maker for a 3rd shift in Missouri. You will repair, build, and maintain stamping dies and fixtures, reading blueprints and CAD drawings, setting up mills and lathes, and ensuring tolerances and quality. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Tool & Die Maker with progressive stamping operations.
• Advanced metalworking expertise with mills, lathes, grinders and drills; strong metallurgy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and CAD drawings.
• Design jigs and templates for fabrication of parts.
• Set up machines: drills, lathes, grinders, milling machines.
• Cut and shape blocks to specified dimensions; inspect tools/dies for defects.
• Support continuous improvement programs (5S/KAIZEN) and SAP data entry.
