Analyze specifications, troubleshoot non-compliance, set up and operate Machine Tools. Fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair Die Tools and Machinery, and return them to their original specifications. Demonstrate knowledge of Tool and Die design, including the ability to design jigs, fixtures, and gauges for Production and Quality Control. Possess knowledge of Mathematics, Metal use, Metal properties, Heat Treatment, Tool Room Equipment, Press Line Equipment, Process Control, and Die Tools. Be familiar with OSHA standards and their application to Stamping Operations.

Essential Functions

• Analyze work orders to estimate hours and create machining schedules.
• Interpret blueprints and measure parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Assist in repairing and adjusting machines and equipment to meet standards.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production needs.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Suggest improvements in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Maintain regular attendance, including overtime as required.

Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED; accredited Tool and Die School graduate (Journeyman certification), or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Effective communication skills for safety and work-related issues.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and write routine reports.
• Broad knowledge of shop mathematics.
