Job summary

Lisi Medical Jedopa Inc. seeks a skilled Tool and Die Maker to analyze specifications and fabricate dies from raw steel stock, and to repair existing dies. You will set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and inspect dimensions to spec.

Responsibilities include studying blueprints, selecting metals, performing test runs, and ensuring adherence to ISO/IATF safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience fabricating dies for automated or related equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with die fabrication and tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring tools.
• Set up and operate machine tools to shape parts to specified dimensions.
• Study blueprints or specs to plan tool and die fabrication sequences.
• Inspect dies for finish, contour conformity, and defects.
• Machine and assemble progressive and multi-slide dies.
• Conduct test runs to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety policies.
