Job summary

STRATTEC Security Corporation is seeking a Tool & Die Maker - Mold in Milwaukee. You will perform tooling construction, development, fitting, alignment, calibration and repair to support toolroom operations and project tooling needs.

The role requires a Journeyman or 8 years of experience, proficiency with CNC machines, mills, lathes and CMM, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, vendors and customers while training teammates. First shift, M-Th, on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be Journeyman or have 8 years of experience.
• Ability to lead a new internal group and collaborate across teams.
• Strong problem solving and toolmaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support toolmaking operations and create tooling per drawings and IGES files.
• Work with maintenance and tool build technicians to ensure correct tooling construction and repair.
• Communicate with tool designers, engineers, vendors and customers; train others as needed.
