Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for our Warren, Ohio manufacturing operations. The role focuses on setup, operation of lathes, mills and grinders, and maintaining dies and molds to support high‑quality production standards.

You will read blueprints, verify tolerances with precision gauges, and troubleshoot issues across shifts. Aptiv offers competitive pay, benefits, and 401(k) contributions to support a stable career path.

Qualifications

State-approved apprentice certificate and 16,000 hours as a tool & die maker.
Documented work history.
Ability to work any shift, including weekends.
References available upon request.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and determining causes of operating errors and resolutions.
Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
Set up and operate lathes, milling machines and grinders.
Lift, position and secure machined parts on surfaces using vises and fixtures.
Fit and assemble parts to make repairs.
Maintain die and molds and read blueprints.
