Job summary

North American Stamping Group in Pulaski, TN is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to develop and maintain efficient tooling processes for the Production Department. You will troubleshoot tooling problems at presses and work with engineers to reflect changes in prints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Toolmaker or 5 years’ experience in Tool and Die field preferred.
• Apprenticeship Program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production tooling and equipment are ready to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot tooling problems at presses.
• Maintain production equipment as needed.
• Request supplies and spare parts for tool room and dies and keep areas organized.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Interpret prints for tooling modifications and improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineers to modify prints.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with team to improve quality and production.
