Job summary

Weber Specialties Company is seeking a skilled machinist focused on stamping dies. You will study blueprints, plan machining, and set up various machine tools to produce die components to precise specifications.

The role involves working with CNC equipment, performing troubleshooting, and supporting engineering and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives. Strong measurement and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to work with dimensional tolerances and geometric concepts.

Responsibilities

• Studying blueprints, models, templates, and prototypes to visualize die shape and operation.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to machine parts to specifications and verifies conformance.
• Dis-assemble and re-assemble dies and tooling as required.
• Assist production CNC department with setup, programming and fixture issues.
• Assist engineering with new projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as required.
