Job summary

MAT Industries LLC is hiring a Tool & Die Maker in Jackson, TN. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus, plus medical, dental, vision and disability coverage, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are required; full-time 40-hour week with potential overtime.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated problem solving and ability to adapt to changes in production.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks among production personnel and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications to stamping and forming equipment.
• Troubleshoot stamping dies, presses, benders, and related tooling.
• Support development and modification of stamping dies to improve life and quality.
• Operate general machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Submit parts requisitions and manage spare parts inventory recommendations.
