Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or 5+ years of Tool & Die making experience.
• Must pass MSTB (Maintenance Selection Test Battery).
• Able to work full-time on 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
• Overtime, weekends or holidays as needed.
• Maintain personal hand tools as designated by plant management.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools, jigs, fixtures, tooling gauges, and dies.
• Learn to blank and draw stainless steel and Inconel materials.
• Build and modify tools and dies from instructions and sketches.
• Set up and operate tool room equipment: lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
• Hold tolerances of ±0.0001" with tooling steels and carbide materials.
• Sharpen tooling and lathe tooling; use hand and power tools for assemblies.
