Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Tool & Die Maker (C/B) in Monrovia, CA, on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM). The role offers starting pay of $33.00–$37.00 per hour plus a $1 shift premium.

You will develop advanced machining and tooling skills, construct and repair dies, and work with precision tolerances using lathes, mills, grinders, and precision inspection tools.

Qualifications

• MSTB qualifying test required for Maintenance selections.
• 2-year technical degree in machining or related discipline per posting.
• Ability to work full-time on 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM).
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Developing skills in constructing, repairing, and designing tools, jigs, fixtures, and dies.
• Build and modify tools and dies from instructions and sketches.
• Set up and operate standard tool-room equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
• Keep tight tolerances (±0.0001 in) when working with tool steels and carbide.
• Sharpen close-tolerance tooling and utilize hand and power tools for bench-fit.
