A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to construct and repair tools and fixtures. The role involves operating machinery, conducting precise operations, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should have a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training along with extensive experience in the metal industry.
SUMMARY
Responsible for building and repairing various types, sizes, and shapes of jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies. Assemble and test complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
High precision and control required; delicate touch and muscular control essential. Attention to safety to prevent injuries. Good attendance record necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training/program, or four+ years of Tool & Die experience in the metal industry.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
Accuracy, detail orientation, dexterity, and ability to read complex blueprints. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must hear regularly, perform high mental and visual effort, and handle contact with oils and sharp materials. Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, and fine motor skills required. Vision abilities include close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, with accommodations as needed.
