Advastar, Inc. in Kansas City, MO seeks a Tool & Die Technician for the 1st shift to repair multi-cavity injection molds and oversee apprentices. You will read blueprints and use machine tools to maintain tooling, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma plus a 4-year apprenticeship and 4 years of mold/tool repair experience, knowledge of hot runners, tight tolerances, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs with mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• Hot runners; .0005" tolerances; machine tools; 10-15 yrs typical.
• Knowledge of trigonometry, machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs; mandatory overtime.

1st Shift Opportunity where you will repair multi-cavity molds, oversee apprentices and perform other related tasks. Large manufacturer in KCMO.

• $34/hour base (up to $40/hour for top experience), plus shift differential (if applicable)
