Job summary

LMT Mercer Group Inc is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a strong background in injection mold building to join our precision manufacturing team. You will fabricate, repair, and maintain molds used in plastic component production, and interpret technical drawings.

You will operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines, collaborate with engineers to improve mold designs, perform changeovers and preventive maintenance, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making, with emphasis on injection molding.
• Skilled in using hand-fitting techniques to ensure components’ proper assembly and function.
• Proficient in operating manual and CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire/Sinker EDM machines
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with the different injection, cooling, and ejection systems common in injection mold designs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in TIG and/or precision laser welding is a plus.

We are looking for a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker with a strong background in injection mold building to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, and molds used in the production of plastic components. This role requires expertise in machining, mold construction, and technical drawing interpretation.

Salary Range - $30 -$45 per hour
