Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company in the Anderson, SC area, seeks experienced Tool & Die Makers to join their team on 1st or 2nd shift. Direct hire with competitive pay up to $35/hr based on experience and a 10% shift premium for the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing metal stamping dies, operating CNC and manual machines, reading blueprints and GD&T, and ensuring tooling quality across shifts to support production and urgent repairs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tool & Die experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience repairing metal stamping dies including progressive and hand lay dies.
• Experience with CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair metal stamping dies including progressive and hand lay dies.
• Machine replacement parts using CNC and conventional machining equipment.
• Perform milling, turning, grinding, and other toolroom operations.
• Ensure proper die alignment, clearances, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and return tools to production quickly.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Communicate effectively across shifts and departments.
• Support production needs including overtime and urgent repairs when required.

Tool & Die Maker Job Summary:

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift

Pay: Up to $35/hr.+ (based on experience)

Shift Premium: 10% for 2nd Shift

• Maintain and repair metal stamping dies including progressive and hand lay dies
• Machine replacement parts using CNC and conventional machining equipment
• Perform milling, turning, grinding, and other toolroom operations

Tool & Die Maker Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with CNC and manual machining equipment
• Strong skills in milling, turning, and grinding
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a production-driven environment
