Job summary

Qualified Staffing seeks an experienced Tool & Die Maker for our Holly, MI operation. This first shift, non-union role pays $23–$30 per hour depending on experience and runs 7:00am–3:30pm.

You will contribute to a stable production environment that values craftsmanship and problem-solving. Duties include designing tooling, fabricating dies, performing test runs, and ensuring tooling meets specifications while following ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level education or equivalent training.
• 5–10 years of experience in tool and die trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret designs, specifications, and tooling requirements.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Review required applications and specifications to determine tooling needs.
• Design and develop workable tool or die configurations based on application requirements.
• Acquire appropriate materials and process them as needed to fabricate tools and dies.
• Build, modify, and repair tools and dies to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform test runs on completed dies to ensure proper functionality.
• Make adjustments or corrections as needed to ensure tooling meets specifications.
• Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
