Job summary

PMB Talent Partners is seeking a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. You will design, fabricate, maintain, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, using advanced machining and CAD tools to support high-quality production.

The role emphasizes precision, documentation, and adherence to safety in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include CAD-driven component design, tool fabrication, GD&T interpretation, and meticulous inspection and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Tool Die Maker or similar in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in machining, fabrication and assembly.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or AutoCAD; CAM experience desirable.
• Skilled in operating lathe, milling, stamping press, and other machining equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T for precise measurement and quality control.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with welding and EDM techniques.
• Excellent math skills for dimensions and tolerances.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tool and die components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

• Interpret schematics, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Conduct inspections of finished tools using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions meet strict tolerances.
• Maintain detailed records of tool fabrication, repairs, and modifications while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced

• Proven experience as a Tool Die Maker or in a similar machining or tooling role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable.
• Skilled in programming and operation of lathe, milling machine, stamping press, and other machining equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality control.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and electrical discharge machining (EDM).
• Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tooling issues efficiently.
