Job summary

QRC Group, LLC is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will fabricate, repair, and modify precision tooling, dies, fixtures, and molds used in high-volume medical device manufacturing environments.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent training in Tool & Die Making or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in tool fabrication and maintenance. Proficiency with CAD drawings and GMP practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent training in Tool & Die Making, Machining Technology, Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tool and die fabrication, repair, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments and metrology.
• Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify precision tooling, dies, fixtures, and molds for high-volume medical device manufacturing.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and related equipment.
• Read engineering drawings and follow tooling design specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling processes.

Tool& Die Maker tosupport manufacturing operations. The selected resource will be responsible forthe fabrication, maintenance, repair, and modification of
precision tooling,dies, fixtures, molds, and related equipment used in high-volume medical devicemanufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and tooling design concepts .
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working within GMP-regulated environments.

Requirements

• Technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent training in Tool & Die Making, Machining Technology, Mechanical Technology , or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tool and die fabrication, repair, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency operating manual machine shop equipment .
• Experience working with precision measurement instruments .
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation .
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of machining practices, metalworking processes, and tool fabrication techniques .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology manufacturing is highly preferred.
