Job summary

Ingenium Technologies Corp. in Washington, PA, is seeking a Tool & Die Machinist for direct hire to build and repair dies and tooling for stamping and manufacturing. The role requires interpreting blueprints, performing precision machining, and maintaining dies with strong CAD skills.

You will work with Master Die Makers to improve die designs and contribute to continuous production improvements, with 10% travel and strict ITAR data access considerations. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years’ experience with machines and tooling to drawings.
• Ability to read/alter CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
• Familiarity with tool steel (D2, A2) and copper.
• Experience building die tooling for stamping/manufacturing.
• Welding TIG/MIG experience.
• Familiarity with steel heat treating process.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to set up and operate machine tools for outlet box construction.
• Perform precision machining operations, including cutting, drilling, grinding, milling and turning to fabricate parts and components.
• Inspect and measure machined components to ensure they meet precise specifications
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on dies including disassembling, diagnosing faults, and performing intricate repairs.
• Specialize in the repair of progressive and compound dies, ensuring they function efficiently and effectively.
• Work closely with engineering and Master Die Makers to improve die designs and enhance production efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications for future reference
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and die performance

On behalf of our client, Ingenium Technologies is recruiting and evaluating candidates for the position of Tool & Die Machinist.The client manufacturers commercial steel boxes, covers, and prefabricated electrical assemblies.

Position Purpose
