Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a skilled Tooling/Fixture Technician in Florida to fabricate and repair dies and tooling for our manufacturing facility. You will interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics, and operate drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines to meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include designing jigs and templates, measuring stock, and inspecting finished tools for quality. Strong GD&T understanding and hands-on shop experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in tooling/fixture build and repair.
• Demonstrated experience with manual machine tools and their uses.
• Demonstrated experience with the setup and operation of CNC machining centers and lathes.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & T tolerances).

Responsibilities

• Repair and fabricate dies and metal tools for manufacturing.
• Interpret designs, cut and shape tools and dies, and assemble parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
• Inspect finished tools for defects and finish quality.
